HAVE you ever heard the expression “Have a heart”? Taupo people are doing exactly that on September 3rd in a day-long workshop.
Provided participants are ready and willing to smile and relax the workshops can be life-changing, least of all enjoyable. Having spent a lifetime closing my heart and becoming a hard-arse as a consequence of life’s knocks, opening it again was liberation in capitals.
According to the Indian Behavioural Department of Human Sciences, a child smiles 300 times a day, a teenager 30 and an adult merely 21 times a day.
The heart that I refer to is the “heart-felt” place in the middle of your chest that you can feel in response to feelings such as love and joy. The happiness we practice when truly opening our hearts is not because of some external stimulus, but comes from the heart itself. That’s easier said than done and takes practice but is well worth it. Once people have gain
ed the initial skills, ongoing local and online support is available as are practise CDs. What I’ve learnt since practising the opening of my heart is that there is no need to analyse why certain blocks have arisen. It’s easy to smile relax and release the blocks.
Open Heart is a form of meditation that while practicing reduces the dominance of the brain. Don’t get me wrong, the brain which is a fantastic instrument, is not diminished but rather enhanced with the balance of a stronger heart. Making the right decisions becomes easier.
Open Heart is practiced world-wide and in the case of the upcoming Taupo workshop the teacher Vincent, is coming from Australia. He is also booked to teach in Havelock North, Wairoa and Auckland (click on upcoming events for dates and contact information for all workshops). An early-bird discount is offered off the $175 beginners course fee if paid by 20th August.

We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us, its in everyone, and as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Yes, its true. There is to be a Spiritual Retreat in Melbourne from Friday 13th to Monday 16th of May. We are so blessed! It is to be taken by Irmansyah Effendi, whose teaching style and approach are truly unique. What is learnt during these Retreats cannot be described in words as it is beyond our minds to comprehend. However it is no overstatement to say that your heart and connection to True Source will never be the same again once you have attended a Spiritual Retreat and opened your heart. As Helen Keller said, ” the best and most beautiful things in the world can not be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart”

During March I will be holding “Introduction to your heart” talks at Haeatatanga, 243 Swanson Road, Henderson. These are one hour experiential talks that aim to introduce you to your spiritual heart or for those who already have that awareness show you how to deepen the experience. These evenings will be held on different days throughout the month so please contact us through this site or contact me via phone 09 8380048.
We will also be holding some introductory evenings via skype so anyone interested in this please contact us.

I hope everyone had a wonderful and joyous Christmas and New Year period. I certainly enjoyed some down time with family and caught up with some friends that had eluded me during the year. Isn’t it amazing how fast time seems to go and all good intentions can be lost.
For those of you who intend that this year is the one where you will spend more time on the things that really matter we have a wonderful selection to choose from in this coming month.
We will hopefully be present at the OREWA Mind Body Spirit Festival being held Centerstage on the 8th and 9th of January. We will be there to sell copies of Irman’s new book and share the heart with people. We will also use the opportunity to promote our workshops for the month of January:
We have a one day workshop – Smile to Your Heart Workshop – on the 15th and another on the 16th of January. These workshops are 6 hours long and designed to practice the techniques in Irmansyah Effendi’s new book “Smile to Your Heart Meditations”. Check out our information on these workshops and how you can save $155.00 on Level 1 Open Heart workshops by attending. These workshops have a cost of $50.00 for a one day workshop, this time only – going up to $60.00 in February. These workshops will be facilitated by myself. We have different facilitators of these workshops and over the coming months we will introduce you to these wonderful people who are in a variety of areas around New Zealand.
We have Level 1 Reiki Tummo Workshops in Auckland on the 22nd of January and Level 2 Reiki Tummo Workshops on the 23rd of January. These workshops are being held in the Avondale/New Lynn area. Please contact us if you are interested in attendance. We are aware of the expensive time most people have just come through and have payment options and a variety of discounts available.

There will be Reiki Tummo Workshops in Auckland on the 6th and 7th November (Level 1 and Level 2).
Dependent on demand there will also be workshops in other centers (Wairoa, Havelock North, Taupo).
